The safety and outstanding results of liposuction have combined to make it one of the most commonly performed aesthetic surgery procedures. Via permanent removal of fat cells, new pleasing contours are established. Unwanted bulges are removed. Clothes fit better. Fat can be gently removed from almost any area it is not wanted including jowls, neck, arms, chest and flanks, hips, abdomen, thighs, knees and ankles.

The procedure may be performed under local, local with IV sedation, or general anesthesia depending on the extent of the procedure. Incisions are small and discreet and imperceptible when healed. A garment is worn for up to six weeks after the procedure to minimize swelling and help to optimize the result.
