This starts with preoperative consultation, continues with superior surgical experience and unparalleled post operative care and support. The patients meet with Dr. Ackerman during their initial consultation for an extended time to assure that patients' concerns and desires are clearly communicated. Then Dr. Ackerman performs a thorough evaluation and makes his thoughtful recommendation to the patient. Dr. Ackerman meets with his patients again approximately 2 weeks prior to surgery. At this time Dr. Ackerman and his staff again spend a significant amount of time with the patient to make sure that the surgical procedures and the entire process is clearly explained and all of the questions are answered. For the out of town patients, this second consultation can be substituted with a telephone conference. Each patient is placed on a unique pre-surgical protocol designed by Dr. Ackerman to achieve optimum healing and recovery. This includes vitamins, homeopathic remedies, skin care, surgical soap, prescriptions as well as some other interventions. The patients also undergo appropriate laboratory testing. Patients can relax knowing that they are superbly prepared for their upcoming surgery.  The surgery is performed in Dr. Ackerman's dedicated, AAAASF certified surgical facility. Appropriate post-operative care is arranged depending on patients' needs and requirements. Special rates have been negotiated at local hotels for our out of town patients. Dr. Ackerman adheres to a very high standard when it comes to post-operative care as well. All patients are seen frequently by Dr. Ackerman himself. Intense post-operative care is adhered to for the first one to two weeks, depending on the procedure. After the initial period the patients are seen for a minimum of 6 months at no cost, to insure optimum healing and excellent outcome.
