Meet Dr. Esmailian

Dr. Farbod Esmailian is a double board certified plastic surgeon who excels in the art of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery for both men and women. He is a natural leader and a caring physician, who has a passion for perfection. Dr. Esmailian understands that every patient is unique and has particular desires and concerns; therefore he prepares a plan that is tailored for each individual.

Dr. Esmailian began his education and training at the University of California, San Diego, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree and was consecutively honored on the dean’s list.

After UCSD, he moved to the nation’s capital to attend the George Washington University School of Medicine where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree.

Dr. Esmailian always knew that he wanted to be a plastic surgeon, and he wanted to do it the right way by first completing a general surgery program. Being a native of Southern California, he came back to Los Angeles to attend the very prestigious University of Southern California where he worked closely with many of the world’s most sought-after surgeons in one of the busiest hospitals in the nation.

As is his nature, Dr. Esmailian made a name for himself while at USC. He consistently ranked at the top of his class and was recognized numerous times for his dedication and leadership abilities. He was awarded top honors including Outstanding Resident of the Year, Outstanding Resident Teacher of the Year, and was given the coveted leadership role of Administrative Chief Resident.

After completing his general surgery residency at USC, Dr. Esmailian received his board certification from the American Board of Surgery and became an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

He wasn’t done yet. Dr. Esmailian then went on to complete his plastic surgery training at Indiana University Hospitals in Indianapolis, where he was trained in cosmetic, reconstructive and hand surgery. He honed his skills working alongside well-known experts in the field of plastic surgery.

After finishing the plastic surgery program, Dr. Esmailian persevered again and became board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

In fact, Dr. Esmailian is proud to say that he is one of the few surgeons that is both a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon as well as a Board Certified General Surgeon.

Dr. Esmailian practices cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery in Beverly Hills, Glendale and Los Alamitos. He is recognized as a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a candidate member of American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). Dr. Esmailian is a respected innovator in plastic and reconstructive surgery and specializes in the art of aesthetic procedures of the breast, body and face.
